Wool jacquard fabrics use cashmere fibers. Cashmere is a thin and curved fiber that contains a lot of air, forming an air layer that effectively resists the cold air outside and maintains body temperature. Cashmere is finer than wool, and the outer scales are denser and smoother, so it is light, soft and tough. It is particularly suitable for making underwear. When worn close to the body, it is light, soft, smooth and very comfortable, which is unmatched by other fibers.

Cashmere is a rare and special animal fiber. Unlike sheep wool, it is called "diamond of fiber" and "soft gold". Internationally, cashmere is usually called "Cashmere", while China uses its homonym "Cashmere". Cashmere is the down combed from goats, and the down of cashmere goats has the best quality. Every spring is the time when goats shed their hair. The down grabbed from goats with a special iron comb is called raw cashmere. The cashmere obtained by combing the washed raw cashmere to remove coarse hair, dead hair and dandruff is called hairless cashmere. Cashmere comes in three colors: white, blue and purple, of which white cashmere is the most precious.

The quality standards of cashmere in my country are divided into five grades, which are graded according to the coarseness rate, impurity rate and length index. The grading standards for white cashmere and purple cashmere are also different.
