Many people confuse jacquard fabrics with printed fabrics, but in fact, they are two different fabrics.

Jacquard is a fabric made by different processes on the machine to give it different stripes and patterns, with a convex and concave feel. After the fabric is formed, you can no longer choose the pattern; printed fabrics are printed after the fabric is woven, and the choice of patterns is diverse, so there is an essential difference between the two.

Compared with printing, jacquard is better, and the corresponding cost is also higher. In the market, jacquard is generally more upscale and more expensive, while printing is slightly cheaper.

Jacquard is woven during the weaving process, while printing is printing different patterns on white or colored cloth. Generally speaking, the front and back of jacquard are regular and neat, while the back of printed fabrics will be slightly different from the color of the front. The printed lining is flat, the front pattern is clear, and the back is fuzzy. The pattern of jacquard lining is more three-dimensional, which increases the thickness of the fabric to a certain extent.
