Fabrics woven using dyed yarns to create a specific pattern or design on the fabric are called yarn dyed fabrics. The yarns are dyed before the weaving process and may also be dyed according to the fabric design plan.
Depending on the fabric design, the dyed yarns are applied in the warp direction (stripe) or in both the warp and weft directions (check). The production cost and production time are higher compared to plain fabrics.
