Jacquard fabric is a special fabric with texture or pattern. Its production process includes the following main steps:
1. Design pattern: First, the designer will draw the design pattern of jacquard fabric according to the needs and creativity. This can be done by hand-drawing, computer drawing or CAD software.
2. Weaving design draft: After the design pattern is completed, it needs to be converted into a weaving design draft. The weaving designer will use professional software to convert the design pattern into a format suitable for weaving. The design draft specifies the color, position and operation of each fabric unit (such as yarn).
3. Weaving preparation: Before formal weaving, a series of weaving preparations need to be carried out. This includes selecting the appropriate yarn material, color and yarn density, and dyeing and pre-treatment to ensure the quality and color consistency of the yarn.
4. Jacquard weaving: The weaving process of jacquard fabric is different from ordinary weaving. In addition to weft and warp interweaving, it is also necessary to control the movement of the pattern board on the additional equipment (jacquard machine) to achieve specific patterns and texture effects. The jacquard machine adjusts the up and down interlacing of the yarn through devices such as hooks, shuttles and buckles to form a pattern.
5. Finishing and finishing: After weaving, the jacquard fabric needs to be trimmed and finished. This includes removing impurities, cutting edges, washing, ironing, etc. to make the fabric more flat, smooth and have a good feel.
6. Quality inspection and packaging: After weaving, the finished jacquard fabric will undergo strict quality inspection to ensure that it meets the standards and design requirements. It is then packaged and usually sold in rolls for easy transportation and storage.
It should be noted that the production process of jacquard fabrics may vary depending on different textile manufacturers, machines and design requirements. The above is just an overview of the general steps, and the specific production process needs to be adjusted and changed according to actual conditions.
