In the textile industry, uragiri is a process for deep processing of fabric surface fabric. Generally, the processing object is velvet and fabric with relatively long velvet.

Uragiri is generally completed by the color shearing roller that lifts the fabric on the shearing machine. The velvet part that is pushed out of the convex part of the color shearing roller is cut off, while the velvet part that is not pushed out of the concave part of the color shearing roller is not cut, forming a protruding pattern velvet. However, the diameter of the color shearing roller is very small, so the longitudinal height of the complete pattern is exactly equal to the circumference of the color shearing roller, which limits the use of this method. There is a computer-controlled combined thin-sheet color shearing device, in which each thin sheet in the combined thin sheet with a width of the machine width is controlled by a computer through a pneumatic device. The velvet is cut off at the protruding part of the thin sheet; the velvet is not cut at the concave part of the thin sheet, thereby forming a velvet concave and convex pattern, which we call uragiri.

Jacquard is a concave and convex pattern formed by the interlacing of warp and weft on textiles.

Compared with cut-flower fabrics, the cost is higher and the process is more complicated, while the bedding is softer and more delicate, with better gloss, better feel, better quality and breathability, and more noble.
