1. Concept of Jacquard
Jacquard fabrics can be divided into single-color and double-color jacquard and satin jacquard.
Single-color jacquard is first woven on a jacquard loom and then dyed and finished. The finished fabric is pure color; multi-color jacquard is a yarn-dyed jacquard fabric - the yarn is first dyed and then woven on a jacquard loom, and finally finished. Therefore, the yarn-dyed jacquard fabric has more than two colors, the fabric is rich in color, not monotonous, the pattern is strong, and the grade is higher. The width of the fabric is unlimited, and the pure cotton fabric has a slight shrinkage, no pilling, and no fading.
The texture is soft, delicate, smooth, unique texture, good gloss, good drape and breathability, and high color fastness (yarn dyeing). The pattern of the large jacquard fabric is large and exquisite, the color layering is clear and the three-dimensional sense is strong, while the pattern of the small jacquard fabric is relatively simple and single.
Satin jacquard fabric: The warp and weft yarns are interwoven at least once every three yarns, so the satin weave makes the fabric density higher, so the fabric is thicker. Satin weave products are more expensive than similar plain and twill weave products. Fabrics woven with satin weave are collectively called satin fabrics. Satin fabrics have front and back sides. There are the fewest interlacing points in a complete weave loop, the longest floating threads, and the fabric surface is almost entirely composed of warp or weft floating threads. Satin fabrics have a soft texture. Satin fabrics have front and back sides, and the fabric surface is smooth, delicate and shiny. The most common satin fabric is striped satin, also known as satin stripes.
Jacquard fabric: The pattern on the fabric is woven, not ordinary printing or embroidery. The fabric is woven with warp and weft weave changes to form a pattern. The yarn count is fine, the needle thread density is high, and it does not deform or fade during use, and it is comfortable. Jacquard is very popular in the market. Satin bedding looks high-end and tasteful. To distinguish the quality of satin, you need to compare the yarn count and density.
2. The difference between the "three flowers"
The pattern of printing is printed on the fabric by dyes or pigments, and the colors are bright and rich;
The pattern of jacquard is formed by the changes in the fabric structure, which has a decorative and high-grade feel;
The pattern of embroidery is embroidered on the fabric by embroidery thread, and the pattern can be changed at will.
Printing is flat, jacquard is plain but the mechanism is complex, while embroidery is embroidered on the fabric, which is flexible, arbitrary, and can be mass-produced.
