The surface of jacquard fabric looks a bit like embroidery. Both can have convex patterns, but jacquard fabric seems to have a more three-dimensional sense than embroidery because it can be concave or convex, and can present beautiful patterns such as flowers, birds, fish, insects, birds and animals. Generally, jacquard fabrics are mostly used for indoor decoration such as bed sheets, tablecloths, curtains, etc.; jacquard poplin, jacquard linen, and jacquard yarn are mostly used for clothing. The concave and convex patterns make it different from ordinary fabrics. Whether it is used for indoor decoration or wearing, it has a strong sense of shape and a unique charm.
According to the weaving principle: weft knitted jacquard fabric, warp knitted jacquard fabric, woven jacquard fabric
Weft knitting machines can also make jacquard fabrics of different sizes, also called "large pattern tissues". The yarn pad is placed on the knitting needles selected according to the pattern requirements and knitted into loops. Jacquard tissue can be formed in weft or warp knitting, single-sided or double-sided knitted fabrics. The pattern of weft-knitted jacquard fabric can be changed arbitrarily within a certain range and is widely used in various outerwear and decorative items.
Warp-knitted jacquard fabric refers to the organization in which some needles do not perform yarn padding and unwinding during the weaving process of the warp knitting machine to form an elongated coil. Warp-knitted jacquard fabric is widely used in clothing and decorative items.
Woven jacquard fabric is a jacquard fabric woven by a shuttle loom or a silk loom based on the principle of warp and weft interweaving.
The difference between jacquard fabric and yarn-dyed fabric
1. Yarn-dyed fabric is not dyed fabric. It has the characteristics of no pilling, wear resistance, strong stain resistance, easy cleaning and maintenance, can be hand-washed or machine-washed, and does not need to be spun dry. Yarn-dyed fabric is a fabric woven directly with dyed yarn, which can weave different simple patterns (such as notes, plaid).
2. Jacquard fabric is woven by jacquard machine, divided into large jacquard and small jacquard, and can weave patterns of different circulation positions according to different machine models. Small jacquard patterns are relatively simple, while large jacquard patterns can be quite complex (such as floral or various patterns). The changes can be very diverse, depending on your requirements. There are colored jacquard fabrics and dyed jacquard fabrics. The pattern color can be the same as the jacquard base or different. Suggestions for washing colored woven fabrics: 1. Wash with warm water below 40 degrees; 2. Do not bleach with chlorine; hang to dry; 3. Do not mix dark colors; 4. The shrinkage rate per meter is about 5cm.
